Let me give you a little insight about what Eket dev fest 2021 is all about, DevFest is.
What is DevFest?
DevFest is an annual tech conference covering topics that are important to the tech community. It is a worldwide celebration and testament of the impact of Google Developer Groups on developers, with the goal to help developers learn and connect as a community by exploring how to use Google technology to accelerate local economic impact (source: events.withgoogle.com ).
Eket DevFest 2021
DevFest Eket is simply an extension of DevFest in Eket. This year, renowned developers in Eket and beyond are coming together to host Eket DevFest 2021, a 1-day event filled with inspirational talks, keynote speakers, technical content focused on Google technologies (Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Web, Android, Flutter) and much more!
What is GDG?
Google Developer Groups (GDGs) are communities for developers who are interested in Google's developer technology; everything from the Android, Chrome, Drive, and Google Cloud platforms, to product APIs like the Cast API, Maps API, and YouTube API.
When you join a Google Developer Group, you'll have the opportunity to learn new skills in a variety of formats. You'll also meet local developers virtually or in person with similar interests in technology. The community prides itself on being an inclusive environment where everyone and anyone interested in tech—from beginner developers to experienced professionals—all are welcome to join (source: developers.google.com).
If you attend a tertiary institution, you've probably even heard of DSC, or GDSC (Google Developers Students Club). GDSC is a subset of GDG, and you can find a community via this link gdsc.community.dev however, I digress.
